The BFS-Sack Countdown thread
Last match May 24th

Just when will we know is unsure, but a countdown is in order.
Are we in for the highlight of the season, or the day WHU was murdered?

You cannot sack someone who's contract runs out in a few months...

Re: The BFS-Sack Countdown thread
It would be worth sacking him now and paying him the compensation (for two weeks lost wages) just to get a sacking on the fat fuckers CV.

He's due to start talks on his new 2 year contract

If he signs a new deal this site was actually blow up.

Re: The BFS-Sack Countdown thread
I believe his contract expires on the last day of this month.
But no doubt it will drag on if Sullivan hasn't got a new man lined up by then.

What a pity the prick didn't get the bum's rush last May. Would have saved a lot of aggravation this past 12 months.

He'll be signing a 2 year contract, stand on me.

This could be a very long countdown.

Re: The BFS-Sack Countdown thread
Spot on Ray, he's going nowhere.

If Moyes was available and up for it, they'd be going all out for him, as he is the perfect manager for our owners. Not for me at all, but you couldn't actually get a better fit for them.

And that is that, Moyes isn't leaving Spain, Rafa will stay with Napoli, and that is as far as our mob can see I reckon.

Re: The BFS-Sack Countdown thread
He has started talks with Sunderland, Fulham and QPR. All have their benefits. He will reject a new contract either way as has lost interest with the club, fans, players and Sullivan.

Will hold the club to ransom and if he doesnt get it will walk.

Howe is now a serious candidate and contacts have been made with his representatives.

Re: The BFS-Sack Countdown thread
Nick, how can he hold the club to ransome?

I really need that explaining.

Re: The BFS-Sack Countdown thread
Going to prepare for the worst and am ready for another couple of seasons of this odious man in charge. That way, if he is gone, I'll be having a week long tear up.

Sloppy Giuseppe 2:52 Mon May 11
Re: The BFS-Sack Countdown thread
Reliable source that QPR definitely want him. No idea whether he'll want to drop down again. I doubt it somehow, considering he thinks he's top 4 material.

Joey Woodwork 2:53 Mon May 11
Re: The BFS-Sack Countdown thread
QPR or Fulham will throw enough money at him, to 'convince of the project'.

He is a cunt.

Don't you get bored at all, starting these threads day in, day out?

I think everyone knows your feelings on the matter by now.

Re: The BFS-Sack Countdown thread
,? What dont you get? The options are getting less and less by the week so if they want him to stay, his demands will be extortionate as he is pretty confident he has one of the other 3. It is his last big pay day before he retires and wants to make the most of it. Hence the wanting another job in the PL but now listening to QPR and Fulham. Although, QPR obviously rests on what happens with them and the league.

Mr Polite 2:56 Mon May 11
Re: The BFS-Sack Countdown thread
Can't imagine him going to QPR until it is clear what division they'll be playing in nxt season or what points deduction is coming their way

Re: The BFS-Sack Countdown thread
I think the point is Nick that it's not like he is Jose Mourinho and we have to do everything in our power to keep him.

If he comes in and says he wants a huge pay-rise, more influence in transfer dealings, a massive transfer budget etc, then the board can just say "thanks but fuck off" and tell us all that his demands were outrageous.

At least at that point we can make some serious approaches and not some half-hearted ones the papers are suggesting.
